Frequently asked questions
Can I open a trading account with Villiontrd?
No. Villiontrd is an educational website only. It does not open accounts, accept deposits, execute trades or manage money.
Someone from 'Villiontrd' called me about my investment. Is that you?
No. This site does not contact anyone and has no account managers. If you were asked for money, a withdrawal fee or remote access to your computer, stop all payments, contact your bank and report it to the police and your financial regulator.
How can I check whether a broker is legitimate?
Open your national financial regulator's website yourself and search its register for the firm's exact name and website address. Also check the regulator's list of warnings about unauthorised firms. Our guide on spotting investment scams walks through the steps.
Is forex trading a good way to make money?
For most retail traders it is not. Regulators require CFD providers to publish the share of retail accounts that lose money, and those figures are typically above half. Treat trading as a high-risk activity and never use money you cannot afford to lose.
What leverage is safe?
No leverage is risk-free. The higher the leverage, the smaller the price move needed to wipe out your margin. Retail limits in the EU and UK (for example 1:30 on major currency pairs) are a ceiling, not a recommendation.
A platform says I must pay tax before withdrawing. Is that normal?
No. Legitimate providers deduct fees from your balance and do not collect tax up front on behalf of authorities. A demand for new money before releasing a withdrawal is one of the clearest signs of fraud.
Do you give trading signals or recommendations?
No. The guides explain how markets and products work; they do not tell anyone what or when to buy or sell.
Is crypto covered by investor protection schemes?
Usually not. In most countries crypto holdings are not covered by deposit-guarantee or investor-compensation schemes. Read the crypto markets guide for details.
